DIY: Sparkly Sparkly Bag!

My sister and I went to the arts and craft store yesterday, which ultimately led to the creation of this little DIY project. Yay productivity.
Stuff I used:
- Black felt
- Bedazzling rhinestone packs
- Scissors/ paper cutter
- Glue
- Cardboard (for structure)
- Turn lock and chain
The cardboard was cut and scored into 4 panels (front, back, bottom, and flap). After the felt was measured out to fit the cardboard, the hardest part was definitely trying to position the turn lock. It had to fit exactly! Luckily it did:
Then I sewed the felt directly onto the cardboard and starting bedazzling away:
Poked the chain through, and voilà! My shoddy hand stitching haha (but surprisingly sturdy):
And there it is! Total cost: $20ish, Total time: a few hours (embarrassingly longer than I thought because of that silly turn lock… haha)
